Conflux技术进展：

1. 测试网性能优化：重新设计并实现了"区块父边正确性检查"算法，提升了执行效率。

Conflux Technical Development：

1. Testnet Optimization: We designed and implemented a new algorithm for correctness check of parent edge, which is more efficient than the previous one.

2. Testnet Optimization: We started to develop the storage snapshots to save on the use of memory capacity.

3. Testnet Optimization: We redesigned some relaying strategies in the P2P network, allowing each node to adjust the number of peers adaptively.

4. Tools for Developer & User: We have finished the JavaScript API for blockchain explorer. Now we are developing the JavaScript API for Conflux Wallet.

6. We have finished the construction of Jenkins environment. Jenkins can make our development and testing process more standardized.

Recently, Conflux was successfully enrolled in the 5^th Shanghai Microsoft for Startups program. The Microsoft for Startups is a renown startup incubator. It aims to provide top and professional services for startup teams, and to support them with resources in technology, marketing, PR, etc. Moreover the enrolled startups can have access to Microsoft Azure. The acceptance rate of was less than 2% each time.

Conflux✖️Hainan Free Trade Zone Blockchain Application and Technical Innovation Seminar:

On January 23^rd, Hainan Free Trade Zone Blockchain Application and Technical Innovation Seminar was held in Haikou City. Dr. Guang Yang, Research Director of Conflux, was invited to attend the seminar. Dr. Yang expressed his keen interests in establishing close collaborations and communications with companies in Hainan. Conflux is willing to provide technical trainings and supports for the companies.

1. Conflux will host a series of Meetups and tech salons nationwide from the beginning of March. We welcome all the supporters and followers of Conflux to apply and participate! Please follow our official Wechat, Twitter, and Weibo accounts for further information, including time, locations and presentations themes/topics of the upcoming activities.

2. Many friends complained to the editor that the blockchain industry is too chaotic, and full of projects that vary dramatically in their quality. Therefore, it is difficult for them to distinguish which project is with high technical quality. Moreover, there are some scam artists out there, who know little about technology but keep bluffing people with all the buzz words. As a result, people might receive incorrect knowledge and information, and get confused and misled by those scam articles or speeches. We feel sorry for what we have to confront in the industry right now, and we decided to help the people who really want to learn, and try our best to change the situation! Soon, Conflux Wechat official account will launch a special column named “C the RoastMaster”. In this new column, Editor C will criticize the advantages and disadvantages of projects and explained the technical methods in the most straightforward language. We hope that everyone will gain a deeper understanding of the blockchain technology and the industry after reading our articles.
